Harts Aberdare Mine 1936
The men had been working alone in a corner of the mine, a third of a mile from the entrance, clearing coal away to enable them to attack a small fire in old workings, and are believed to have gone a little way off for their evening meal when the explosion occurred.
This accident claimed the lives of 4 people, these were: Albert Perry, Christopher Yeoman, Edward Turner, Robert Binnie
